The CMCP1210 series bearing temperature sensor provides, fast and accurate readings from bearings, blocks, and other solids. The spring-loaded holder ensures solid contact in drilled holes with a built-in oil seal. The sensing probe features a copper alloy tip for quick response to temperature changes. Probes may be cut to length in the field using a tube cutter.

Spring Loaded Probe Holder

Spring-loaded holders provide a quick and simple installation of probe sensors pull out and twist the knob, insert the probe until it bottoms out, and release the knob. Spring pressure holds the probe tip in contact with the measuring surface for faster response and more reliable measurements. Features a rubber O-ring that doesn't crimp the probe but prevents oil leakage to 50 psi (3.4 bar) at up to 260°C.

Connection head is suiable for use in harardous locations as defined by the national and Canadian electrical codes as:
  • Class I, Groups B, C, AND D; Class II, Groups E, F, and G,

  • Class I, Zone 1, AEx\Ex d IIC T6 (Ta = 40°C), T2 (Ta = 260°C);
  • With O-ring in place, the connection head is suitable for weatherproof applications defined as type 3 and 4.

  1. Holder is equipped with a double containment system which has two O-ring seals that seal around the probe. If the first O-ring is breached, the fitting will leak via the weep hole. The second O-ring will keep measured medium frmo reaching electrical components.

  4. Pressure: Holder will withstand 50 PSIG at maximum temperature without any leaks around the O-ring seal.

  4. The PD resistance thermometer will meet the resistance-temperature relationship and tolerances specified in EN 60751 (IEC 751), Class B.
  5. Connection: Terminal board for sires up to AWG #14.
  6. Adjustable spring-loaded option is equippend with two O-ring seals. It was a weep hole between the primary and secondary O-ring seals to indicate failure of the primary seal.
  7. The G1/2A thread form will meet the following specification: ISO 228/1, DIN 259, BS2779 and JIS B0202. Process connection end configuration per DIN 3852, Part 2 Type A (Stub end).
