The CMCP5300 Series are pre-packaged solutions for all types of rotating machinery. STI's CMCP500 Series Single Channel Vibration and Temperature Monitors allow you to create a custom system for your exact application. By using single channel transmitters the exact amount of measurement points can be monitors, significantly lowering the cost compared to "rack" based systems that come with a minimum channel amount per card. The CMCP5300 Series Monitoring Systems are designed to be used with any CMCP500 Series Monitors, whether your applications call for proximity probes, accelerometers, RTDs, thermocouples or any other industry standard sensor, STI can retrofit the CMCP5300 to accommodate your needs. Other enclosure types are available for systems that require more than 6 channels. STI's Custom Products Division can also provide custom built systems around your requirements.

System Description

The CMCP5300 Series Monitoring Systems are one, two, four and six channel Vibration Monitors that have been designed for use on typical rotating machinery such as motors, pumps fans, turbines, compressors, chillers, etc. The CMCP5300 Series can accept inputs from any industry standard 100 mV/g accelerometer, conditions the input signals to velocity and provides a digital display and alarm status indication.

Analog outputs (4-20 mA) are provided for each channel for interface to a PLC or DCS for trending, alarm and operator interface. The alarm contacts for the OK circuit, and Alert and Danger may be interfaced to machine control and shutdown systems for a complete vibration protection solution. A BNC Buffered Output Connector is available on each monitor to provide a connection for further fault analysis with a vibration data collector, such as SKF's Microlog. The system is a pre-wired turn-key package with power supply, and bright LED displays. The power supply accepts 110 or 220 VAC, 50 or 60 Hz. They are available in either an English or Metric configuration.

The CMCP5300 Series Monitoring Systems come standard with STI’s CMCP530A-100A-02R but are also available with any other CMCP500 Series Monitors, please contact STI to specify the exact model number. The enclosure is available in NEMA 4X Fiberglass, NEMA 4 Painted Steel and NEMA 4X Stainless Steel.
