The CMCP602H Series High Temperature Accelerometer Extension Cables are designed for use piezoelectric accelerometers featuring a 2 pin Mil Spec MS 5015 connector (standard 2 pin). The CMCP602H Series are a 2 wire design utilizing 20AWG twisted/shielded conductors with an overall braided copper shield for high noise immunity to maximize the signal quality of the sensor connected to the monitoring system or field junction box. The overall red FEP provides excellent temperature, chemical and sunlight protection while also providing the flexibility required to install cables in rigid conduit. Each cable assembly is fitted with a 2 Pin MS 5015 connector that is fully encapsulated with epoxy to ensure water resistance. The CMCP602H Series cables come standard with a blunt cut end to allow for direct connections to field junction boxes or monitoring systems. Spade lugs or a BNC connector may also be added to the fly end of the cable prior to delivery. CMCP602H Series cables are 0.195” in diameter and are stocked in 16’, 32’ and 64’ lengths though any length can be provided by specifying the exact cable length in feet at the time of ordering.
Optional Armor Adder:
The CMCP602H Series Cables are also available with an overall hose or braided armor. Both types of armor are
316 Stainless Steel and provide excellent protection to exposed cables in harsh environments. Hose armor is a
preferred in areas where cables may be crushed or exposed to extremely hot surfaces. Braided armor protects
against abrasive surfaces and has a 95% coverage. Both types of armor are isolated from the inner shield as the
cable “floats” inside of the armor. Braided armor has an overall diameter of 0.25” and hose armor 0.4”.
