The system is a pre-wired turn-key package with
power supply, and bright LED displays. The power
supply accepts 110 or 220 VAC, 50 or 60 Hz.
Systems are available in either English or metric
units but can be adjusted on site to your specific
vibration range.
The CMCP5300 Series Monitoring Systems come
standard with STI’s CMCP530A-100A-02R but are
also available with any other CMCP500 Series
Monitors. Please contact STI to specify the exact
model number. Enclosures are available in NEMA
4X Fiberglass, NEMA 4 Painted Steel and NEMA 4X
Stainless Steel.
System Description
The CMCP5300K Series Monitoring Systems Kits
are one, two, four and six channel Vibration Monitors
that have been designed for use on typical rotating
machinery such as motors, pumps fans, turbines,
compressors, chillers, etc.
Bundled as a complete solution the CMCP5300K
Series Kits come complete with STI’s CMCP770
100mV/g Accelerometers and our CMCP602L
32’ (10m) Sensor Extension Cables. An optional
sensor installation kit is available to provide the user
with the necessary tools to properly install the
accelerometers. The kits are available in 1, 2, 4 and
6 channel systems allowing for single or multiple
bearings to be monitors for around the clock
protection.
System Function:
The CMCP5300K Series Monitoring Systems
conditions the input signals to velocity and provides
a digital display and alarm status indication. Each
vibration monitor provides an adjustable Alert and
Danger Relay Output which may be interfaced to a
machine control and shutdown interface or
notification system. Each vibration monitor also
provides a 4-20mA output for connecting a PLC,
DCS or HMI system for displaying, trending and
alarming on the facilities local operating system.
When an “alert” or “danger” status appears, a
Buffered Output BNC Connector is provided on the
front of each vibration monitor to allow for further
fault analysis with a vibration data collector such as
SKF’s Microlog.
